About This Event
As part of the Chinmaya Amrit Mahotsav — marking 75 glorious years of Chinmaya Mission — Chinmaya Mission Chicago is organizing a Grand Hanumān Chalisā Yagna on July 11, 2026 at the DuPage County Fairgrounds, to invoke the grace of Vāyuputra upon our Windy City. Join thousands of devotees in a unified samashti havan — 1,008 voices chanting as one sacred collective.
The event includes cultural performances, Chinmaya Jeevan Darshan, children's activities, prasad distribution and a food mela. This is a free, family-friendly event open to all.

Opening prayers and invocation led by Swamiji.
The grand havan — 1,008 voices chant the Hanuman Chalisa together across multiple sacred fire kunds.
Community prasad distribution and vegetarian food mela.
Classical dance, bhajans, Hanuman Leela drama, and Chinmaya Jeevan Darshan.
Final aarti and blessings by Swamiji. Distribution of prasad.
